Feynman School helps young gifted students grow. We celebrate each student’s intellectual curiosity and sense of self, promote inquisitive and creative thinking, and foster caring and concern for others.
Our social and emotional program is built on the best practices from research in the field of gifted education and is tailored specifically to the unique needs of gifted students. Feynman School teachers honor their students’ advanced intellectual capabilities without forgetting that gifted children are children first and foremost. They understand that along with the thrill of a challenge, gifted children need nurturing and guidance to develop the self-awareness, self-confidence, curiosity, creativity, and caring necessary to make the most of their natural gifts.
In each of our preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms, gifted learners have the opportunity to use materials more challenging and sophisticated than those typically available in other schools, public or private. Working with the whole child, Feynman School balances thinking skills like questioning, reasoning, and problem-solving with social skills such as listening, leading, cooperation, and confidence. Children explore their feelings and friendships as well as the world around them.

– Half day: M–F, 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
– Full day: M–F, 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
– Pre-K: M–F, 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
– Before care option: From 7:30 until 8:20 a.m.
– Aftercare options: From 2:30 until 3:30, 4:30, or 6 p.m.
Physical distancing, mask wearing, regular cleaning and disinfecting, small class size, learning bubbles—not mixing age groups, regular hand washing, daily temperature checks and health screening for staff and students, robust community plan outlining COVID policies and procedures that is updated regularly, and limiting entrance into the facility.
