CANCELED: The 2021 preschool fair will be held at the Silver Spring Civic Building on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m

We look forward to repeating the success of our 2019 fair, which included vendors from 50 local preschools, 8 extracurriculars, and additional county resources. Hosted in partnership with Montgomery County Recreation, the 2019 fair was held at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center on Friday, Nov. 8.

To comply with safety regulations and help protect the health of children, parents, school staff, the general public, and our WAM & Fam volunteers—the 2020 Southern Montgomery County Preschool Fair was hosted online only via our preschool directory.

What the fair offers attendees

Selecting a preschool for your child can be a daunting task, especially as we want our children’s first experience with education to be positive and foster a joy for learning. The myriad options available can be overwhelming as you are learning new terminology, deciphering schedules, and comparing curriculum and education philosophies.

By attending an in-person preschool fair, you have a one-stop shop to meet a wide range of school representatives, learn about tuition, schedule tours, and more.

Our 2019 fair featured 50 local schools. Many offer flexible schedules for children as young as 2 years. We also have schools that offer classes for toddlers and even infants. Whether you are looking for your toddler or 4-year-old, our fair will have something for you and your family.

Our 2019 fair featured free classes and demonstrations from our extracurricular organizations and Montgomery County Recreation, including cooking classes, dance classes, soccer lessons, an obstacle course, and children’s story time.
